Siemens NX is computer aided design modeling software, formerly known as Unigraphics. NX, as its parent company would suggest, is a modeling software with “German Engineering” characteristics. Many find the learning curve to be incredibly steep, serving as a major barrier of entry for new engineers. However, FE would like to make the transition from simple and underpowered CAD software (like Inventor and OnShape) as smooth as possible. If you are familiar with the basic functionality of these simpler software products, the functions are all still there, just hidden in different sub-categories.
